HARBOR WINDS HOTEL LODGING POLICIES

All rooms must be booked and occupied by at least one guest 21 years of age or older.  If booking multiple rooms as a family or group, please get in touch with the hotel to make arrangements.

GUEST CAPACITY: All our rates include two guests.  The maximum capacity per room is equal to 2 guests per bed. Single queen rooms and accessible single double rooms are limited to 2 guests.  Our two double rooms are limited to 4 guests. At no time will more than the allowed number of guests for a room be allowed to stay in the room as a guest overnight.

RESERVATION HOLD: A valid credit card must be provided when booking a reservation.  Deposit requirements vary by rate plan.  For rates that do not require a deposit, the card will be used to hold your room, and we reserve the right to charge your card after your free cancellation period has ended.  If you do not show up for your reservation, your card will be charged for your entire stay.  Details of any variations from this policy are provided during the booking process on our website.

DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS, & CREDITS: Our deposit and cancellation policies vary based on rate, package, and offer. The Allowed Cancellation Period may vary for your rate and include a cancelation fee; details will be listed in the description of your rate and/or your confirmation if booking directly.  If you cancel after this time, you will forfeit your deposit and/or be charged your entire stay. At times and at our discretion, a portion of the deposit paid may be offered towards a future stay instead of the amount being forfeited.  Any credits are to be used within six months, or they will be forfeited.

RESERVATION CHANGES: Changes requested prior to the end of your Free Cancellation Period are subject to hotel availability and rates as of the date of your change.  Date Changes requested after the expiration of your Free Cancellation Period, including shortening your stay, will be handled on a case-by-case basis; all change fees and current rates will apply.  Credits from changes will be forfeited unless they are used prior to your departure.

CHECK-IN TIME:  Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. While our property is typically staffed 24 hours a day, if you are arriving after 10:00 pm you must inform us during your booking or prior to your arrival date. You must present a valid photo ID and the credit card used to pay for your reservation upon check-in. Unless otherwise arranged in writing, reservations that do not check in by 3:00 am on the morning after the scheduled arrival date will be canceled; any deposit will be forfeited, and the cancellation policy will be applied.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHECK-IN EARLY, please call AFTER 10 am the day of your arrival to discuss your needs.  Limited early check-ins are available for a $25 early check-in fee. We cannot guarantee we will have early check-ins available, but as always, we will do our best to accommodate if possible.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is by 11:00 am. To give rooms the proper attention required for our cleaning standards, all guests must check out by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged with prior approval for a fee; however, any departures not pre-approved for late check-out will be assessed a $50 per 1/2-hour late check-out fee. Guests not checked out by 1 pm will be charged an additional night.

PARKING: There is ONE complimentary standard parking space allocated for each Hotel Room.  If you are traveling with several cars, a large truck, a camper, or a boat trailer, you will need to make parking arrangements in advance; please call to discuss your needs and any options we may have.  Oversized vehicles are not permitted to park on property without prior approval.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR FOOD IN PUBLIC SPACES: No Outside Alcoholic Beverages are permitted in the property's public areas. No Outside Food is permitted in public spaces where food service is actively being served, for example, during continental breakfast.  Our liquor and food licenses cover all our public spaces. Wisconsin state liquor license law prohibits BYOB, and the consumption of alcohol purchased outside of the property to be consumed in areas covered by our license. You are allowed to consume outside beverages in your Hotel Room only.  While staying with us, please respect the law. You will once be asked to keep any outside beverages in your hotel room. Failure to follow this policy will result in a $300 fine per incident, which will be applied to your hotel folio, outside alcoholic beverages will be confiscated, and/or you will be asked to leave the property.

SMOKING AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: Smoking, Vaping, or Gaseous consumption of organic materials (i.e., Marijuana) is strictly NOT allowed in any guest room or public spaces. However, in our desire to accommodate all guest needs, we ask that smokers discretely use the designated outdoor areas, away from all doors and windows. A minimum $300 cleaning fee is automatically assessed for any smoking violation.  As a reminder, the use of Marijuana within the State of Wisconsin is illegal, and we have zero tolerance for illegal substances to be on our premises, including but not limited to our grounds, vehicles parked on our grounds, hotel rooms, and public spaces.  If you are found to have an illegal substance, you will be asked to leave the property and forfeit all deposits/prepaid amounts.

PETS: Pets are not permitted on the property except for those providing an ADA-identified service. We ask, if possible, to contact our hotel at 920-452-9000 if you will be traveling with a dog providing an ADA-identified service.
